In 1850 “Father of Jeans” opened his first clothing store in San Francisco. In 1953 the first legendary “Levi´s” was produced. He was a German from Bavaria named Levi Strauss who emigrated to the USA in 1847 to search success there. The brand Levi´s has been market-leader ever since.
During the first years farmers and US army used these jeans as working clothes before they became the rebellious expression of the so-called beatniks in the 1950´s. » read more…
