At around 2 p.m. I got a call: Yeah, we’re at the Color Line Arena and we need some Tres Noir sunglasses, where’s your store? Alright, we´ll be there in a minute.
We weren’t prepared for a visit at all – all the things not belonging to the showroom were lying around, empty color buckets, cartons and any thinkable garbage.
Half an hour later someone knocked at the door and Billie Joe Armstrong together with his driver entered the room. Dude, I was nearly skidding. Anyway, everything started out quickly. Actually Billie wanted to have a Police & Thieves for the concert in Berlin yesterday but he couldn’t get one there. So now he packed his new sunglasses and away they were. The Police & Thieves is obviously hip with musicians. Arnim of the Beatsteaks, Bela B., Duane Peters have equipped themselves with a Police & Thieves – just to mention a few. What wonder.
